White Chocolate + Morello Cherries Cupcakes



Frankfurt looks lately like Siberia...



But the cold weather isn't going to stop me from baking... if anything, it only inspires me to bake even more, as I spend more hours "zu Hause" (like they say here).



So I baked these White Chocolate Chips + Morello Cherries Cupcakes.



Ingredients (makes 8 big cupcakes / 12 medium cupcakes)

  • 100 gr sugar
  • 100 gr flour
  • 100 gr butter
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp white chocolate chips
  • 4 tbsp Morello Cherries (here they come in a jar and are called Schattenmorellen)

(These are the cherries I'm talking about)

Heat oven to 180º. Mix all the ingredients with your mixer as you would do in any other recipe, adding the cherries, finely chopped, and the white chocolate chips at the end.

Fill the cupcake moulds (Look at these moulds I got in Bath... so cute!!!)

Bake 20-22 mins.
YUUUUUUUUUUUUUM



To decorate, I whipped 250ml cream with 2 sachets of vanilla sugar. Then I added two spoonfuls of morello cherries (finelly chopped). The toppers are sweets I got in Budapest.

  1. alma, podrias explicar el glaseado en castellano?, lo de cream , es matequilla sola o mezclado con otra cosa ?
