Frankfurt looks lately like Siberia...
But the cold weather isn't going to stop me from baking... if anything, it only inspires me to bake even more, as I spend more hours "zu Hause" (like they say here).
So I baked these White Chocolate Chips + Morello Cherries Cupcakes.
Ingredients (makes 8 big cupcakes / 12 medium cupcakes)
- 100 gr sugar
- 100 gr flour
- 100 gr butter
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp white chocolate chips
- 4 tbsp Morello Cherries (here they come in a jar and are called Schattenmorellen)
Fill the cupcake moulds (Look at these moulds I got in Bath... so cute!!!)
Bake 20-22 mins.
To decorate, I whipped 250ml cream with 2 sachets of vanilla sugar. Then I added two spoonfuls of morello cherries (finelly chopped). The toppers are sweets I got in Budapest.
